Straight answers, no run-around
The questions taxi-company owners actually ask us — with the same answers we'd give over a coffee.
Whose dispatch licence is it?
Yours, same as today. The taxi dispatch licence and the radio frequency stay with your company — VoxTaxi is the technology provider your dispatch runs on, not a competing dispatch operator.
Legally nothing changes: same company, same licence, same phone number. The only change is who picks up — a robot that never sleeps.
Where do we stand on GDPR and call recording?
Clean: callers are informed at the start of the call that an automated assistant is handling and recording the conversation, and recordings have a limited retention — they're deleted automatically after the set period.
All data is stored in the European Union, and we sign a data-processing agreement with your company (your company remains the controller of its clients' data; VoxTaxi is the processor). Details in the privacy policy.
What happens if the robot doesn't understand the client?
It doesn't push and it doesn't guess: it transfers the call to a human — your dispatcher, or any number you choose. Same if the client asks for a person from the start.
The robot always reads the address back before confirming, precisely so no car is ever sent after a guessed address.
Are drivers forced to take orders?
No. The system offers, it doesn't oblige: the driver gets the offer with a sound and has 15 seconds to accept. If they decline or don't react, the ride moves to the next in the queue — no automatic penalties.
Refusals do show up in the reports, though, so the owner can see who's working and who's just parked in the queue.
Does it run on the tablets we already have?
Yes. The driver app runs on any Android tablet or phone — including the ones left over from your old dispatch system. We don't sell hardware and we don't make you buy any.
How fast can we start?
In days, not months. Nothing gets installed at your office: we set the company up in the panel, define the ranks and key addresses, drivers install the app, and your phone number is connected to the robot. The first month is free, so you can see everything on your own company's calls.
What happens at night if I have no drivers available?
The robot answers anyway — the client never hears a busy tone at 3 a.m. If no car is free, the client gets an honest message, and the system automatically calls them back when a car frees up.
A client who was told the truth comes back. One left waiting for a taxi that never comes — doesn't.
Do we have to change the company's phone number?
No — the number the whole town knows stays. Calls are routed to the robot via forwarding or porting, and clients notice no change except that someone answers on the first ring.
What about our current dispatchers?
Your call. Some companies keep one person on the day shift for special cases and loyal clients, while the robot covers the peaks, the nights and the weekends. Others go fully on the robot, with transfers to the owner's number for the rare cases.
The robot takes the volume; people stay for what genuinely needs a person.
What does it cost, in short?
25 lei/car/month for the panel, the driver app and the map (minimum 500 lei/month), plus the AI dispatcher at ~1 leu/order or a flat plan with orders included. First month free, no long-term contract. Every number is public on the pricing page — savings calculator included.
